NEW FAMILY ADDITION

KASEN LEE was born July 22, 2008 at 10.36pm weighing 7lbs 8 oz, 20.5 inches long (if i remember right lol). He has dark dark brown hair, a little curly and has the smallest little head (im just use to the big heads my kids were born with lol). They induced Gina (my sister) that Monday, she started labor Tuesday afternoon, me and my mom stayed with her through it all. I got to see him be born which was really pretty cool (eventhough Brandyn said it would be nasty), my mom didnt want to cut the umbilical cord so I got to do it! It was a pretty amazing experience seeing that, since I never got that far having my own kids. I'm so excited I'm an aunt. Now I have a kid I can spoil and send home! I kept trying to talk Gina into letting me keep him , but it was a no go on that one lol. Poor little guy had swollen testicles, so Thursday night they took him to NICU for his surgery Friday morning. My mom had to go home to go back to work so Gina stayed with us and me and her went up there Friday early morning to visit with him before he had surgery, it was so sad to see him hooked up to the IV and he's so tiny I dont know how they got it in his arm. They had to end up removing I think it was the left testicle, but he did great during surgery and went home the next day. He is doing fantastic, no problems, and looks alot better "down south". I wish I had all the gas in the world so I could drive back and forth every day to see him. Libby gets so jealous when I hold him lol, and everytime he would cry she would just stare at him funny and be like hey you cant do that, thats what I do lol. I just got an email from Grandma Patti telling me I've been tagged for a mini-meme , so here it goes!

• Where was I 10 years ago: Hmm, first I was 14, wow umm I believe I was a freshman in high school, getting into alot of trouble and hating school! I went out with friends alot and drank (not the best thing for a 14 year old I know, but I was 14, I wasn't going to listen to anyone lol). I lived right across the street from the school, hardly went, my mom got sick of it and called the cops, they drove me the whole 2 feet to school! *I was horrible, and I dont know how my mom put up with me!*

• Snack Food I like: I'm not really big into chips, cookies and all those types of snacks, but I do love Twix and creamy ice cream bars, banana flavored, yum!

• If I were a billionaire I would: First pay off all our loans, debts, everything, fix up brandyns truck the way he wants it, take my kids shopping and buy them whatever they want without having to tell them no, buy my brother joe a car! Help out everyone in my family with whatever they needed! Also, I was watching the news the other night on fox 5 and they have the RANT where anyone can call in or write about what makes them mad and one lady called in pissed off at people who see kids on the side of the road (homeless, with their parents) in this 115 degree heat and no one stops to help, that made me so sad, I would build some type of huge building to help families, not only in the summer time but all year long!

• Places I have Lived: Las Vegas, Alamo, Laughlin, Pahrump and somewhere in Arizona but not for very long.

I know it has been way to long since I blogged last so I'm going to post a few different things that have been going on!! First off, my sister Gina is having a little baby boy ,yay, I'm going to be an aunt!!!, I'm so excited, her due date is July 25th , way before she expected it would be , but thats fine. His name is going to be Kasen (not sure if thats the right spelling but to sound it out - K - SON -. Here's the ultrasound picture of him taken last week when he was 5lbs 13 oz.

diaper cakes

So, besides the Scentsy candles I've been selling, I decided to get crafty and make my sister a diaper cake for her baby shower, and I liked them so much I made more, so far I have made 5. I'm so proud of myself for making these, they turned out very cute. I'll probley end up making one more before the week is over and ill post a picture of that one also. My grandma will be in town Sunday and I'm so excited to see her and especially show her my cakes, cause she is really big into crafts and cant wait to see them either. I already have 2 people who want to order a cake each , so maybe hopefully I can make a little extra money off of these too.

GRADUATION

MAY 31,2008 Melissa Graduated from LeCordon Bleu Culinary School (i got that right, right?). She is such a great cook, not to mention an amazing person, and did good! Were all very proud of her and I know I cant wait to see what happens next with her! Love you Missa!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

April 23rd, 2008 Davin turned 4! Can you believe that? He will be in school in 1 more year! We had his birthday party at the park, he had so much fun and was most excited about all his presents, of course. June 6, 2008 Makayla turned 6! Geez, I remember when I was pregnant with her and now she will be going to first grade in August. Little ms. prissy had her party at nana and papa garbarinos house, she had a blast swimming and especially because her best friend Ryan was there!

! BRANDYN !

Well, tonight me and brandyn are going out for date night (something we deserve). I'm really really excited, for one we havent really spent much time together with him working alot of overtime and having 3 kids to chase after and take care of, and for two because we really havent been out to do anything just the two of us in awhile. I would like to take this moment to let everyone out there in "blog world" know how much i truly do love brandyn and how much I appreciate him. I know we had our problems in the past with the fighting , arguing , and even the divorce but I honestly think that all of that happened was probley a good thing because now we are closer then ever and our relationship is the greatest it's ever been. I think we have both grown up alot over just even the past year , we dont fight anymore (well little arguments here and there but what couple doesnt) , we spend more time together as a couple and as a family (which makes the kids alot happier now then I have seen them in the past). I also want to applaud brandyn for taking on the responsibility of Libby when he didnt have to and for stepping up and being the wonderful daddy we all know he is. I dont know if anyone knows how much I do truly love this man (trying not to cry so I can see the screen and continue to type lol) and love him for just being him and helping me out so much and going to work everyday to support his family even though some days, I'm sure like everyone else, he would just rather stay home. Since I'm talking about Brandyn and thanking him for everything he does I think I should thank his family too. So here's to Dave and Lisa for putting up with our crap, listening to our b.s., yelling at us when we needed it and still helping us out when we've needed them (always), thank you for everything you have done for the both of us, individually and as a couple, we love you! So i'll end it here cause I need to get off my butt and clean house lol.
